WOOD TAIWAN to host Digital Days on 22 April in preparation for 2022 live event

The Taiwan International Woodworking Machinery Show (WOOD TAIWAN), which was originally scheduled to take place in April this year, will be postponed to 28 April to 1 May 2022 at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, Hall 1. To help exhibitors grab business opportunities derived from economic recovery after the COVID-19 pandemic, fair organisers TAITRA and TWMA have decided to launch a four-day “WOOD TAIWAN Digital Days” in the originally scheduled exhibition period of 22 to 25 April 2021 with a series of online and offline activities, in a hope to break through the constraints of time and space, and to warm up for the 2022 exhibition.

WOOD TAIWAN Digital Days will cover three major events – Emerging Market Webinar, the WOODiscover-Factory Tour, and the online Procurement Meetings. The Emerging Market Webinar will be targeted at Vietnam, Russia and Brazil, in cooperation with local associations to deepen the promotion. The WOODiscover-Factory Tour will provide an in-depth understanding of new products and actual operating conditions in the factories of several leading Taiwanese manufacturers such as Leadermac Machinery, Kuang Yung Machinery, Jun Shiau Machinery, Kaindl, Innovator Machinery, Lih Woei Carpentry Machine, OVA Equipment & Tool, and Goodtek Machinery. All videos for the programmes run will be aired during the event period at TTS D’channel: https://www.youtube.com/taiwantradeshows.

Moreover, the organisers will arrange a series of online procurement meetings (TTS Match) on the first day of WOOD TAIWAN Digital Days. TAITRA has already mobilised its 64 overseas offices to promote this TTS Match. So far, buyers from 17 countries have signed up to take part, with their specific procurement items including veneer and plywood processing machines, sanding machines, secondary wood processing and material preparation equipment, and so on.
