WOOD TAIWAN 2022 DigitalGo to end on 12 May

WOOD TAIWAN 2022 DigitalGo has attracted more than 2,000 visitors since 28 Apr 2022, with visitors from more than 20 countries, according to the tracking data from the exhibition’s organisers.

Launched on the first day was Sourcing Taiwan, the one-on-one matchmaking opportunity which helped buyers that were looking for woodworking suppliers. More than 100 sessions have been achieved with five top buyer countries: India, Vietnam, Malaysia, Poland, and Thailand.

Next is WOODiscover Factory Tour, which the organisers of WOOD TAIWAN 2022 DigitalGo described as one of the most popular events of the exhibition. Exhibitors have been bringing their products and production lines online for seven consecutive days and interacting directly with the viewers. Videos on demand for further viewing also allow business opportunities to continue to ferment.

Six exhibitors, namely Anderson Industrial, OAV, INNOVATOR, LEADERMAC, Jun Shiau and Kuang Yung were interviewed in the webinar series launched in cooperation with “Manufacturers Win Podcast” for the first time.

Through the interviews, the audience can better understand the latest trends in the woodworking machinery industry, including how the production processes have been made more ESG, more digitalised, more system-integrated, and so on.

Aired on the last day of the exhibition, which is on 12 May, will be the first episode of WOOD Insight, to which Harry Urban, publisher of the Woodworking Network from the US, will analyse the woodworking machinery market in North America.
