WEINMANN Treff 2021 witnessed diverse exchange of ideas

The new FEEDBOT W-300 plate loading robot was presented for the first time

WEINMANN Treff, the in-house exhibition and industry timber conference held by WEINMANN, took off from 17-19 Nov 2021, where around 350 visitors from 16 different countries came to St. Johann to witness a variety of solutions for themselves.

The numerous visitors exceeded WEINMANN’s expectations and underlined the rapidly increasing growth in wood construction demand, in keeping with the theme of “Building the future together”. During the three-day event, all specialist lectures were fully booked, and there was a lively exchange between carpenters, prefabricators and technical experts.

Visitors had the opportunity to experience the entire WEINMANN product portfolio, from beam processing to various designs of carpentry tables and multi-function bridges to frame work stations. The FEEDBOT W-300 robot for fully automatic material loading was also presented for the first time; the flexible, autonomously working production cell not only offers efficient production and an ergonomic workplace, but also maximum availability and reliability.

There was also insight into the digital world of WEINMANN for fully integrated solutions that advance timber construction in the direction of timber construction 4.0. At the WEINMANN Treff, visitors found a selection of new, digital products that provide an advantage in everyday work with the CNC controlled machines. Among other things, the new app materialAssist transport, which ensures optimised and simplified logistics, was presented.

The respective experts from WEINMANN and Schuler Consulting gave insight into the solutions in the area of training and service. Through personal consultations, visitors were able to find the right offers for their individual needs. At the accompanying trade exhibition with 20 exhibitors from the fields of computer-aided design (CAD) systems, fastening devices, tools and insulation technologies, there was also a comprehensive overview of current products.

Josef Zerle, managing director of WEINMANN, said: “We are pleased to see that so many customers from all over the world came to our plant. It was a real industry get-together. Once again, it became clear how important personal exchange is. We are pleased that the WEINMANN solutions were enthusiastically received and we are already looking forward to the joint projects in the coming months.”
