Vecoplan introduces mobile version of VEZ 3300 shredder

The new model is designed for flexible deployment without on-site installation.

The VEZ 3300 single-shaft shredder is now available in a mobile version

Vecoplan has introduced a new version of its VEZ 3300 single-shaft shredder, marking the first time the model is available in both stationary and mobile formats. The company said the development reflects growing demand for more flexible solutions in waste management and substitute fuel processing.

The VEZ series is used to process a wide range of materials, including household and commercial waste, waste wood and biomass. It is designed to handle varying material types and sizes, particularly in applications requiring consistent output.

Vecoplan said the latest model retains the durability and performance associated with the series, while focusing on ease of installation and operation.

“All these applications demand power. In further developing our machine, we placed particular emphasis on maintaining the familiar robustness and high performance while designing the machine so that it is quick and easy for the customer to put into operation,” said Joschua-Noah Berger, product manager at Vecoplan.

Focus on mobility and flexibility

The mobile version of the VEZ 3300 has been developed to allow deployment without the need for extensive site preparation. According to the company, the machine can be set up and operated quickly, enabling faster commissioning in different locations.

“We opted for a mobile version for the first time so that our customers can use the VEZ 3300 anywhere and with complete flexibility,” Berger said. “There is no need for civil engineering or foundation work, as the machine can be easily set up and used immediately via ‘plug-and-play.’ This makes it very practical for users and ready for quick operation.”

While the mobile and stationary versions share a similar design, the mobile unit includes a crawler track system for movement and adapted control systems. A foldable conveyor belt has also been integrated to support transportability.

Performance and technical features

Both versions of the VEZ 3300 offer similar performance, with a throughput of up to 80 tonnes per hour, depending on the application. They are equipped with HiTorc electric drive technology, which the company says is designed for energy efficiency and reduced wear.

An optional automatically adjustable counter blade is also available. This feature maintains the cutting gap without manual intervention, helping to ensure consistent particle size output.

Simplified operation

Both mobile and stationary versions of the VEZ 3300 are designed for high throughput and energy-efficient operation

Vecoplan said the VEZ 3300 range has been designed to integrate more easily into existing processes, supporting a range of shredding applications across the waste and biomass sectors.

“Our customers should not only receive first-class technology, but also solutions that can be easily integrated into their processes,” Berger said. “That is exactly what the new VEZ 3300 stands for — whether stationary or mobile.”
