Value of purchased roundwood in Slovenia grows by 11%

Purchases of roundwood by private owners in Slovenia in November 2016 was worth Euro 5.7 million, which is about 13 percent less than the previous month, according to the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia . This was mainly due to the lower quantity of purchased wood.
 
The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs were lower by about 16 percent while pulpwood was by 1 percent. The value of purchased in other industrial roundwood was higher by about 7 percent, and wood fuel by almost 43 percent.
 
November 2016 saw the value of roundwood purchased almost 11 percent higher than November 2015 due to the higher quantity of purchased wood.
 
The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was higher by 13 percent while pulpwood by about 11 percent and wood fuel by about 6 percent. The value of other industrial roundwood was lower by about 41 percent.
