Välinge signs first license agreement in China

Swedish ‘click’ technology company Välinge has signed its first license agreement in China with William Furniture. The Chinese furniture manufacturer is the first in on the Mainland to implement Valinge’s Threespine® click furniture technology in its products.

“The agreement is the result of our close work together with the sales and engineering team from Välinge, including a visit to the R&D facility in Sweden,” said William Noonan, CEO at William Furniture.

“We see great potential in Threespine® as furniture can be assembled without screws, bolts and plugs. This will be a great selling point and we have already attracted a lot of interest from the US market,” said Noonan.

The first piece of furniture to feature the click system—a TV stand—will launch next month.

William Furniture, established in 2006, is well-known for its modern contemporary bedroom furniture.
