“Two hundred” registered exhibitors for Xylexpo 2024 so far

Xylexpo 2022

Xylexpo 2024 is set to return from 21-24 May 2024 with 200 registrations already clocked in for a total exhibition area of 20,000m2.

According to the organisers of Xylexpo, Halls 1 and 3 at the Fieramilano Rho expo centre will showcase present and future technologies, offering Italian and international visitors the opportunity to update, compare different solutions and plan their investments.

The registration campaign will continue for the next months to expand the exhibition further and respond to all the production needs of the variegated woodworking industry.

“The preparations for the next edition are going on in a season of great turmoil for an industry that, after a ‘happy’ period for orders and revenues, is showing signs of concern, probably exaggerated, about short-to-medium-term perspectives,” said Dario Corbetta, exhibition director.

This statement is reflected by Italian market figures for the January-July period, the latest figures published by the Italian statistics institute Istat and processed by Acimall.

The report showed that export has exceeded €1bn, up by 9% from the positive result of 2022. The US, Germany and France are said to have been ensuring ‘sustained’ demand, with a global trend that remains positive.

This is confirmed by the growth of Italian import, with a 3.6%, for a total value of €156m.

“We believe that Xylexpo, despite the current period of transition, will be once again an opportunity not-to-be-missed for anyone seeking high visibility in the Italian and international market,” Corbetta concluded.
