Timber-clad Split View Mountain Lodge in Norway

Using the same timber cladding on all outer walls and roof, the Split View Mountain Lodge in Buskerud, Norway, is unified into one structure by Reiulf Ramstad Arkitekter (RRA)

The holiday home’s clean-cut appearance gives ways to a main wing, housing mainly bedrooms, which naturally adapts to the terrain and divides into two branches of living zones. The shift in program and use of different levels allow this part of the building to adapt to the slope of the site.
