With effect from 1 Oct 2023, the Siempelkamp Group is restructuring its management group to hold seven members, to bundle market-oriented core competencies together and integrate a “modern management concept”, according to their press release.
The group is targeting profitable growth in existing and new markets, agile and lean processes for the entire group, and increased synergies with this new management board.
Martin Scherrer, CEO of the Siempelkamp Group, will be working with Samiron Mondal, Stefan Wissing and Dirk Howe, who in future will each be leading a newly formed Business Unit.
Companies will be grouped together in the Business Units so that they can cooperate much more closely with each other and together will be able to address their focus markets in an even more targeted manner.
Martin Sieringhaus as CFO, Stefan Ziemes as chief people officer (CPO) as well as Axel Baumeister as CTO are also part of the leadership team.
Other core competencies now reflected in the new management board. Apart from the areas of finance and controlling, strategically focused HR work is of elementary importance in today’s world. This includes modern personnel development, targeted talent management and stringent succession planning.
Siempelkamp believes that technological vision is driven forward at the top management level and that the profile is sharpened in the area of R&D.
“Leading a company successfully into the future requires collated perspectives and forces. In the 140th year of our company’s history, we are making our company more modern, more efficient, closer to our customers, resulting in it being more powerful than ever,” said Scherrer.
“We are looking forward to the tasks that we will now be tackling together, so that we can meet the requirements of customers, partners and employees even better in future.”
