Although Beijing, China, may seem like it is fading to some, in reality, the capital is instead full of vigour. In a reflection of the city it is found in, ‘Seed’ is unique in that the restaurant and club does not have an original pre-set concept. Instead, the architects went by their instincts when constructing the place, complete with wood walls and furniture.
With the real culture of the city found in its streets and neighbourhoods rather than the new high-rises that dot the horizon, the architects focused on the present rather than self-righteousness or even architectural notions.
