RusForest’s sawlog harvest up 63% in 1Q/2016

In 1Q 2016, RusForest harvested 121,121 cubic metres of sawlogs, compared with 74,304 cubic metres in 1Q 2015 (+63%). The amount also includes 28,793 cubic metres of recently developed own harvesting in Ust-Ilimsk. Harvesting in Magistralny increased by 24% in 1Q 2016 to 92,328 cubic metres.

During this period RusForest produced 23,021 cubic metres of sawnwood, compared with 21,778 cubic metres in 1Q 2015 (+6%). 1Q 2016 production was the best quarterly production ever from Magistralny. 

In accordance to plan, RusForest produced 6,225 tonnes of pellets.

RusForest is a Swedish forestry company operating in Eastern Siberia. The Company controls long-term timber leases and utilises these resources to produce a wide range of sawnwood products.
