RusForest’s saw log harvest increased 11% to 105,038m3 in 4Q/2015. The figure includes 14,420m3 from its recently developed harvesting in Ust-Ilimsk unit, Russia, according to a company press release.
Subcontractors harvested 216,829m3 of saw logs in Ust-Ilimsk forest lease areas, a 104% increase compared to the same period.
RusForest produced 22,488m3 of sawnwood, compared with 21,368m3 during the same period. The Magistraly sawmill has been running successfully at its practical maximum annual capacity in 2015. In 4Q 2015, RusForest also started production of pellets in Magistralny and managed to produce a total of 1,847 tonnes in 4Q 2015.
RusForest is a Swedish forestry company operating in Eastern Siberia. The Company controls long-term timber leases and utilises these resources to produce a wide range of sawnwood products.
