ReCasting explores generosity and human experience

At the 16th International Architecture Exhibition, Alison Brooks Architects responded to the theme Freespace by creating critical freespaces in four inhabitable constructions, or ‘totems’.

Designed to celebrate architecture’s capability to find human experience in architectural spaces, textures and moments, ReCasting invites visitors to explore isolated and gathering spaces, with each totem offering a different spatial and sensory experiences with geometries and forced perspectives to create numerous illusions.
