Raute has received orders worth approximately €19m from Metsä Wood, the Wood Products Business Area of Metsä Group.
The order includes installation and commissioning of machine lines for a plywood mill in Estonia, which will start beginning 2018. The order, part of an investment programme, was announced by Metsä Group on June 8, 2016.
Raute and Metsä Wood have been working together for decades and most of Metsä Wood’s plywood and LVL mills are installed by Raute. Raute has previously received orders worth €25m for an LVL production line and equipment for a birch veneer production line in Finland.
