Air pollution control technology provider Scheuch has appointed a new COO, Heinz Autischer, taking over Jörg Jeliniewski. Autischer will join CEO Stefan Scheuch and CFO Thomas Eberl as the management of Scheuch Group.
Autischer has years of management experience in the Andritz Group in various business areas and divisions, including as global head of Andritz Metals. He has also spent several years in Brazil as managing director for Andritz Hydro and several years in Germany for Andritz Maerz, an industrial furnace manufacturer for the steel industry. Most recently, he was chief automation officer at Andritz Group in Vienna.
In his new position, he will be the third managing director of Scheuch Management Holding and, as COO of the Scheuch Group, will be responsible for managing the four business units of the Scheuch Group as well as the Group Production & Operations, Innovation Management & Business Development and Digitalisation departments.
“I am pleased that we can welcome Heinz Autischer, a competent and experienced third managing director, to the team. I am sure that he will be an asset to the Scheuch Group with his qualifications in corporate management and his passion for digitalisation and transformation,” said Scheuch.
Eberl is equally pleased about the reinforcement: “With Heinz Autischer, a future-oriented expert and manager is taking over the corporate processes and organisation of the strongly growing Scheuch Group. We are working on many exciting and complex projects, which he, as an experienced leader, will enrich and drive forward in the best possible way.”
Autischer concluded: “I am looking forward to playing a key role in shaping the future of the Scheuch Group. With customer proximity, operational excellence, and innovation and digitalisation, we will shape the future of the company together and further strengthen our position as market leader in environmental technology.”
