New COO for Scheuch Group

Air pollution control technology provider Scheuch has appointed a new COO, Heinz Autis­cher, taking over Jörg Jelin­iewski. Autischer will join CEO Stefan Scheuch and CFO Thomas Eberl as the management of Scheuch Group.

Autis­cher has years of man­age­ment ex­pe­ri­ence in the An­dritz Group in var­i­ous busi­ness ar­eas and di­vi­sions, in­clud­ing as global head of Andritz Met­als. He has also spent sev­eral years in Brazil as man­ag­ing di­rec­tor for An­dritz Hy­dro and sev­eral years in Ger­many for An­dritz Maerz, an in­dus­trial fur­nace man­u­fac­turer for the steel in­dus­try. Most re­cently, he was chief au­toma­tion of­fi­cer at An­dritz Group in Vi­enna.

In his new po­si­tion, he will be the third man­ag­ing di­rec­tor of Scheuch Man­age­ment Hold­ing and, as COO of the Scheuch Group, will be respon­si­ble for man­ag­ing the four busi­ness units of the Scheuch Group as well as the Group Pro­duc­tion & Op­er­a­tions, In­no­va­tion Management & Busi­ness De­vel­op­ment and Dig­i­tal­i­sa­tion de­part­ments.

Eberl is equally pleased about the re­in­force­ment: “With Heinz Autis­cher, a fu­ture-ori­ented ex­pert and man­ager is tak­ing over the cor­po­rate processes and or­gan­i­sa­tion of the strongly grow­ing Scheuch Group. We are work­ing on many ex­cit­ing and com­plex pro­jects, which he, as an ex­pe­ri­enced leader, will en­rich and drive for­ward in the best pos­si­ble way.”
