Lumber Liquidators names a new Chief Accounting Officer

Lumber Liquidators, the largest specialty retailer of hardwood flooring in North America has announced that it has appointed Timothy J Mulvaney as Senior Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer. He will report directly to Marty Agard, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Mulvaney, a certified public accountant, has also spent the last two decades in numerous financial roles with Media General. Since 2012, Mulvaney has served as Media General’s CFO, and also as their Controller since 2009 – in both cases, through the effective time of merger between Media General and Nexstar Broadcasting Group, Inc. Before he joined Media General, Mulvaney had spent six years at Ernst & Young LLP.

“We are extremely pleased to have Tim join our Lumber Liquidators team,” Chief Executive Officer of Lumber Liquidators, Dennis Knowles, said. “We believe his long-term experience with a public company, with a broad range of experience in technical accounting and team building, will enable him to make immediate contributions to our business and operations. Further, we welcome the insight that he will bring to the company with his fresh perspective and new ideas.
