Eislingen, Germany-based lubricant specialist and solution provider Zeller+Gmelin presents its product portfolio of wood release agents at LIGNA 2023.
Whether oriented strand board (OSB) or fibreboard, the release agents of the Multiboard brand cater to a range of applications in the wood industry.
“Under the brand name Multiboard, we have a wide selection of high-quality release agents for the woodworking industry in our range,” emphasised Markus Mühleisen, product manager, Wood Release Agents at Zeller+Gmelin.
Each product in the Multiboard range is developed to fit a customer’s specific manufacturing process. For the production of OSB, MDF and fibreboard, a range of release agents is available, independent of the gluing system, which are used in both spray and rotor applications.
In particular, Zeller+Gmelin has developed Multiboard FP 1500 to meet the specific requirements of the wood-based panel industry. The wood release agent is preferably used in the industrial production of MDF boards.
According to the manufacturer, the product has optimal wetting properties and storage stability. In addition, it is free of substances that interfere with lacquer wetting. The release agent is applied by spraying or by means of rotor application.
“With this product, our customers benefit from first-class separation performance, where even the smallest application quantities are sufficient,” concluded Mühleisen.
