Siempelkamp will present new technologies and services at LIGNA under the motto, ‘When digitalisation contributes to sustainability’, with a focus on new smart solutions, sustainable concepts, and the new ContiRoll Generation 9i.
This motto originates from Siempelkamp’s claim a few months ago, ‘Intelligent engineering for future generations’, which combines digitalisation and sustainability, the two current industry megatrends that drive Siempelkamp’s mission to act. In addition to digitalisation, automation, sustainability and resource efficiency, Siempelkamp will also focus on innovation and social responsibility for LIGNA — all of which are encapsulated within the kaleidoscope concept, illustrating versatility and correlation between the topics. These topics are key for the success of people, machines, technologies and services within the wood-based panel industry.
‘IQ’ digital platform
In Siempelkamp’s ‘Experience Walk’ digital experience room, Siempelkamp is presenting their new digital platform ‘IQ’ to the public reportedly for the first time. It is a digital, overall holistic approach for plant operators, demonstrating intelligent production. Within the ‘Experience Walk’ room, visitors can also privy to new products and approaches to resource efficiency and recycling, anchored in the topics of wood or material use, emission, and energy. The kaleidoscope of Siempelkamp solutions includes other individual concepts and solutions which will be presented at selected brand and product islands.
ContiRoll generation 9i
Siempelkamp will also display their new ContiRoll 9i with further developments which redefine the triad of reliability, performance, and a new access concept which is key for plant operators: The new ContiRoll 9i is rounded off with adaptive forming systems that automatically optimise the spreading distribution for medium-density fibreboard (MDF) and particleboard, without requiring intervention from operators.
Siempelkamp will be at Hall 26: Stand E27.
