Argos Solutions will demonstrate its grading system which digitally inspects all wood-panel surfaces, including decorative and laminate, at LIGNA 2023.
Argos’s automated grading systems aim to reduce manpower costs, relying on automatic calibration and cleaning and registration of new products, while accurately delivering reports and statistics on the graded and inspected panels. They use the latest camera and illumination technology for inspection, and have separate detectors for each defined panel defect. They are also designed to ensure quick and easy installation, allowing easier retrofitting into existing lines. These are a few of the various features of Argos’s grading systems.
Kastamonu Entegre and Argos Solutions have also partnered up two years ago to develop a grading solution for laminate flooring. As a result, Argos created a lighting system designed to meet specific laminate floor requirements and increase production capacity and product quality.
Now, the company delivers inspection systems for the complete process: raw board, short cycle press, and laminate floor planks with bevel inspection. Globally, the Norwegian company has more than 400 systems installed worldwide to panel and laminate floor manufacturers. Within Turkey, Argos has installed more than 10 systems and has confirmed several additional orders to manufacturers over the past two years.
Argos Solutions will be at Hall 26: Stand E49/1.
