Katharina Siebert takes over as the press spokeswoman of LIGNA
Deutsche Messe has filled the position of LIGNA spokeswoman with a new contact. From 1 July 2020, Katharina Siebert is responsible for international communications for the world’s leading trade fair for tools, machinery and equipment for the woodworking and wood processing industries. She will take over from Gabriele Dörries, who previously held a dual role in communications for events in the woodworking and in the digitalisation competence field at Deutsche Messe. In future, Dörries will be fully responsible for the press work for IT events such as TWENTY2X, TECHTIDE and CMM.
Siebert has been working for Deutsche Messe as press officer since 2005. In this role, she was responsible for the press relations for various leading trade fairs including CEBIT, BIOTECHNICA (now: LABVOLUTION) and DOMOTEX. Most recently, she managed the international communication of the new trade fairs micromobility expo and HALAL HANNOVER.
Siebert reports to Dagmar Wolf, Director Marketing & Commmunications.
