Japan’s wooden window imports increased by 18 per cent in August

The steady rise in Japan’s imports of wooden windows which began in May this year came to an end as August imports dropped almost 11 per cent month-on-month. However, compared to August 2018, there was an increase of about 18 per cent, reported ITTO.

The top three shippers in August were China (44 per cent of imports), the U.S. (20 per cent) and the Philippines, which contributed a further 18 per cent to August window imports.
