INDIAWOOD 2016: 650 exhibitors to showcase furniture and woodworking innovations

Over 650 domestic and international companies will be at INDIAWOOD from 25 – 29 February 2016 at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC).

The 9th edition will feature furniture production technologies, woodworking machinery, tools, fittings, accessories, raw materials and products. Over 40,000 individuals from the global woodworking ecosystem are expected to attend INDIAWOOD 2016.

New attractions include a seminar on “Wood in Architecture”, a furniture manufacturers’ corner to showcase latest innovations and designs, as well as wood-based installations by leading architects.

For the past few editions INDIAWOOD has featured over 50% overseas exhibitors and given buyers an overview of the Indian market. In 2014, more than 580 companies from 24 countries presented their exhibits on 38,000 square metres of space. There were more than 32,700 visitors from 38 countries. About 80% visitors came from all over India.
