Increased net sales for Raute in Q3 2021

Raute’s net sales has increased from €27.9 million to €37.9 million in Q3 2021, compared to the same period in 2020. Their technology services’s share of net sales was high due to their modernisation projects, accounting for 39% of the total.

Operating profit in Q3 2021 was €1.9 million before taxes, accounting for 5.1% of the total net sales. The earnings per share was €0.33.

New orders for machinery and equipment for the production of a birch plywood mill, worth approximately €18 million, and machinery and equipment for the expansion a birch plywood mill, worth approximately €16 million, were amongst the most significant orders. Both orders were for Russia. Other goods totalled at €24 million. Orders that were delayed by the pandemic are now restarting again.

The order book increased during Q3 by €21 million, amounting to a record €150 million at the end of the period.
