In China’s Kunyu Mountain National Park, more than just a place of rest

Though it is a pilot project that uses wood to build a public washroom, the structure situated in China’s environmentally-sensitive Kunyu Mountain National Park was also designed to be a place of rest.

A location that offers visitors one of the best viewing spots of the mountain, this sustainable and geometric structure was constructed with an innovative low-impact design approach and generates an unceasing dialogue with the nearby mountain ridge.
