HOMAG has released a report detailing their success at Holz-Handwerk, the woodworking trade fair held in Nuremberg, Germany.

According to HOMAG, 28,500 visitors from more than 100 countries attended the exhibition, which was lower than the turnout in 2018. However, HOMAG is still pleased by the amount of contacts and discussions at the HOMAG booth.

At HOMAG’s booth, the company has presented its various machineries for today’s workshops, including new products such as the DRILLTEQ V-310 vertical computer numerical control (CNC) machining center or the CENTATEQ N-210 nested-based CNC machine.

In particular, the hybrid product presentation of the virtual panel storage system using the SAWTEQ B-300 panel dividing saw, demonstrated using intelligent virtual planning (iVP), provided visitors a 3D experience of the products.

HOMAG also reported that its digital solutions are in demand. Machine-related software such as woodWOP 8 and woodStore 8 or digital assistants such as ServiceBoard, ServiceAssist and the new digital job folder productionManager drew visitor’s attention.

HOMAG used iVP, among other things, to recreate the real workshop situation of individual craft businesses by virtually visualising their workshop. This made it possible to discuss workshop concepts and test out the modularity of HOMAG machines.

HOMAG will be presenting its solutions and product portfolio in the future in other live events, such as the HOMAG Treff 2022 in Holzbronn, Baden-Wuerttemberg, Germany, from 27 Sep-1 Oct 2022, and the WEINMANN Treff from 16-17 Nov in St. Johann-Lonsingen, Baden-Württemberg.
