The HOMAG Group is expanding its premises to include a customer centre in Schopfloch site.
The building, worth EUR15 Mn, is scheduled to break ground in the second half of 2018. It is due to be completed by early 2020.
The new area spans 8,000m2 over two floors. One of the key elements of the new building will be a modern, generous showroom, where customers will experience everything the HOMAG Group has to offer. The building will also include a meeting centre and a new staff restaurant.
“We want to present our state-of-the-art machines and systems as well as innovative production concepts here”, CEO Pekka Paasivaara said. “Equally important are our software and IoT solutions, which will show our customers their path to digitalisation… The new premises will enable us to open our doors even more, and create the foundation for positive dialogue with existing and new customers as well as other interested target groups. This will make every visit a great experience.”
