As the members of the Malaysian delegation have never used Finnish timber before, they visited Junnikkala’s sawmill to study Finnish wood and timber as a raw material and operations of a Finnish sawmill.
Malaysian delegation also took a guided tour of the sawmill’s production lines and examined product quality.
Junnikkala Oy is one of Finland’s most important wood processing companies. The company’s production facilities are located in Kalajoki and Oulainen, and it sells products made from raw material from the region to over 30 countries.
