The 7th International Hardwood Conference will be held in Venice on 15-17 November. It will offer a comprehensive vision of production and trade of hardwood in the world as well as give participants an opportunity to network in the sector.
Following the success of the past edition in Copenhagen (2015), the International Hardwood Conference 2017 will welcome delegates from more than 20 countries representing companies, industrial associations, NGOs and trade media.
The conference will be developing in two sessions. The first session, focused on the numbers recorded by the sector, will provide a detailed analysis of the market. The second one will discuss sustainability, legality, technology and innovation in the Hardwood industry.
Alongside the conference sessions, a programme of events has been lined up, including welcome cocktails, a gala dinner in a prestigious Venetian palace and a city tour.
The Conference is organised by the European Timber Trade Federation (ETTF) and the European Organisation of the Sawmill Industry EOS in collaboration with Federlegno.
