CIFF Guangzhou reported to be first furniture fair held during COVID-19 pandemic

The China International Furniture Fair (CIFF) reports a successful run of its latest Guangzhou edition, held from 27 to 30 July 2020 at the China Import and Export Fair Pazhou Complex. With 1,607 exhibitors occupying 300,000 sq m of exhibition space, CIFF Guangzhou attracted 145,363 visitors and is reported to be the first furniture trade fair to be held successfully during the COVID-19 pandemic.

CIFF Guangzhou is a primary platform for international and domestic product launches and trade, and plays an important role in securing the stability of the supply chain and industry chain. It also facilitates the recovery of the furniture industry amid the global pandemic. The four-day exhibition housed the entire furniture supply chain under one roof, namely home, outdoor and leisure furniture, home décor and home textile, office, hotel, and commercial furniture, furniture machinery and raw materials.

Design forums, exhibitions and events were held during CIFF Guangzhou, including “Design Spring – Contemporary China Furniture Design Fair” which promotes the growth and development of Chinese furniture design, and “2030+ International Future Office” which explores the possibilities surrounding the future of the office environment.

Strict protocols were adopted throughout the event for the safety of all exhibitors, visitors and exhibition employees.

The 46th CIFF Shanghai will be held from 7 to 10 September 2020.

The 47th CIFF Guangzhou will be held from 18 to 21 March 2021 (first phase: home furniture, homedecor & hometextile, outdoor & leisure furniture) and from 28 to 31 March 2021 (second phase: office furniture, commercial furniture, hotel furniture and furniture machinery & raw materials).
