Changes in management and leadership in IMA Schelling Group

Maximilian Lehner, the global sales director for the IMA Schelling Group, will become the CFO of the group, succeeding Stefan Gritsch. IMA Schelling, who specialises in solutions for manufacturing plants designed for the plastic, metal and woodworking industries, is arranging the succession in the management to ensure a stable continuation of the owner-managed company.

Stefan Gritsch has been operationally active in the company as managing partner for 21 years and will in future concentrate on strategic tasks in the holding company. From 2022, he will be responsible for the investment management of the Vorarlberg-based Legro Group, and his task in the future will be the acquisition and sale of further holdings as well as the strategic management of the subsidiaries. “I couldn’t ask for a better successor than Maximilian Lehner and I am sure that he will continue to lead the company towards the future with focus and commitment,” said Gritsch.

Maximilian Lehner joined the company in 2015 after studying in London and initially worked at Schelling in the finance department, then later supported the then managing director Bernhard Berger as an assistant in Luebbecke, Germany, and headed the organisational development department. In 2018, Lehner moved to the sales department and has been global sales director for the entire group since 2019. “I am looking forward to the new tasks as CFO and wish Stefan Gritsch, who will remain with us as a strong partner in the holding company, all the best,” said Lehner.
