Cefla Finishing has introduced T-Mate, a user-friendly system designed to programme spraying robots and adjust spraying trajectories without requiring complex procedures or specialist programming knowledge.
According to the company, T-Mate eliminates the need for skilled point-to-point programming or manual interaction with the robot arm. Operators can optimise existing recipes by adjusting parameters, with changes implemented immediately. The system is compatible with any product, substrate, or 3D shape, including complex geometries.
T-Mate is the only solution currently available for Fanuc robots that offers full integration with the reading barrier.
The process is straightforward:
An operator uses a manual spray gun device to perform coating trajectories on a real workpiece. With the push of a button, the data is uploaded to the spraying robot. The operator can then fine-tune spraying parameters to optimise performance. This approach removes the need for full reprogramming to correct errors and supports a wide variety of complex 3D forms.
As the company describes it, the system “offers limitless potential for all shapes and complex 3D geometries,” delivering “push-button simplicity” for programming, trajectory adjustments, and recipe fine-tuning — all without programming skills.
