Cedar brings warmth to this seemingly cold glass building

Located at the heart of Toyama City, Toyama Kirari integrates a city library, glass art museum and local bank into one building.

While a diagonal void allows natural light into the building, it is the panels of local cedar that bring an atmosphere of warmth and friendliness into it, completely changing the structure’s cold and formal image.
