Biesse to refocus its strategy on China

The Biesse Board of Directors have decided to refocus Biesse’s strategy in China, approving initiatives to modify the organisational structure for the Asian country, after analysing the Chinese demand evolution, as well as considering the recent tensions and the political-economic international context.

This new Chinese structure provides the reinforcement of the existing sales team (Biesse Trading Shanghai), placing more focus on meeting the needs of any medium and large size key accounts. To meet this trend, this new organisational structure will use the production sites based in Italy and India, both Group productions sites of excellence, to create automated technological solutions. Equipped with excellent know-how and state-of-the-art processes, significantly reducing the Chinese production (originally oriented to the entry-level segment).

A restructuring fund in a range of Euro 3 to 5 million has also been provided for this year.
