Biesse S.p.A. is aiming for over EUR825 million in revenue by 2019, according to a company statement. It expects a CAGR of 10.1 percent and EBITDA at 11.6 percent over the three-year period.
“The three year industrial plan is starting from the excellent 2016 results,” said Group General Manager Stefano Porcellini. “The 2016 showed record growth in revenues, increased profitability and a positive Net Financial Position for Euro 4.9 million.”
Consolidated revenues for 2016 are estimated to have risen 19.1 percent compared to the previous year being up to EUR618.1 million; EBITDA is estimated at 12.3 percent of net sales.
“The Biesse Board of Directors, driven by Roberto and Giancarlo Selci, has approved the actions to support our organic growth plan for the next three years 2017-2019 with a more intense focus in CAPEX for innovation, service and marketing/sales network. Particular attention and targeted investments will be devoted to the development of the concepts of Thinkforward, the Internet of Things and Industry 4.0.”
According to its three-year plan, by 2019 the growth of woodworking machinery sales will be nine percent; the division’s share in 2016 is estimated at 72.8 percent.
The company will announce its 2016 financial results on March 14.
