
International technology group Andritz has received an order from Greenply Industries Limited to supply a pressurised refining system for its medium-density fibreboard (MDF) production in Vadodara, Gujarat, India. Start-up is scheduled for Q3 2022.
Greenply Industries Limited is a manufacturer of interiors and MDF product ranges, such plywood, decorative veneers, doors and related products. Andritz will install a pressurised refining system with a capacity of 35 bone dry metric tonne per hour, that will process wood chips for producing various types of MDF products. A 20-inch plug screw feeder and a high-performance single-disc refiner, type S1056, for fibre production at low energy consumption will form the centrepiece of the new line.
