Supplier of sliding table saws and edgebanders Altendorf Group America was honoured with the Association of Woodworking and Furnishings Suppliers (AWFS) visionary award for its artificial intelligence (AI)- and camera-based safety assistance system for sliding table saws, HAND GUARD, at this year’s AWFS exhibition in Las Vegas, US.
There were live demonstrations of its HAND GUARD, along with a showcase of its F45 sliding table saws in various configurations and the ‘next’ series of Hebrock edgebanding machines unveiled at the exhibition.
Spanning over four decades in the US, Altendorf Group America’s philosophy lies in the power of partnership. In a statement, its managing director Richard Williams said that AWFS served as a platform to collaborate with its customers and partners.
