TTBois EXPO, a new exhibition for the woodworking and furniture industry, will be held in Casablanca, Morocco, from 29 June to 2 July 2017.
“We have been working a lot on this concept,” said Dario Corbetta, Acimall director. “According to our analysis and the data collected during several missions in the region, the time is ripe to organise an exhibition that supports the development of wood and wood-based materials production in North Africa.”
The organisers, Cepra—part of Acimall—and Forum 7, a Moroccan trade fair company, will host the event at the International Fairgrounds Ofec in Casablanca.
The exhibition is open to all technology providers to promote the best European and global technology in a showcase that will become a reference for most of the African continent.
The wood and furniture industry in Morocco and in neighbouring countries Tunisia and Algeria is made up of some 500 companies employing 10,000 people.
The exhibition will be held concurrently with Simetal 2017, the international exhibition for the metal working industry.
Product categories include finishing equipment, coatings, paints, complete wood and panels production lines, adhesives and semi-finished materials.
Meetings and conferences will also be held alongside to create an effective B2B event.
