Acimall: Italian woodworking technologies still growing

In a statement released by Acimall, the trade association for Italian woodworking and tools manufacturers, the exports of Italian woodworking technologies are still growing in the first nine months of 2021, increasing by 31.5% compared to the same period in 2020.

With data from the Italian National Institute of Statistics (ISTAT), Acimall wrote that the export figures reached €1,139 million, with the US ahead of the rest of the other countries as the leading customer with €113m, an increase of 14%. This is followed by France with €87m, and Poland with €81m. Germany came in fourth and did not live up to their usual performance, which in the first nine months of 2021 grew by only 2.2%, reaching €73m.

China, after the strong increase recorded in the first half of the year, marks a slight increase of 1% for a value of €49m. Russia is in the top 10 customers of Italian products again with €39m, a 77% increase.
