84 Lumber carries on with its expansions with grand opening

With robust growth and their revenues going over US$2.86 billion in 2016, 84 Lumber is looking to maintain that drive in 2017 with the opening of a number of new stores located across the nation, and a grand opening in Riverhead, New York, United States (US) right at the top of the list.

The 36,000ft² (3,344m²) facility will cater to both commercial and residential customers who need building materials. A wide range of specialty departments will provide everything from a 6,500ft² (604m²) showroom completed with an 84 Lumber Kitchen & bath Design Studio, along with a customised millwork shop, Anderson window feature, and reclaimed-wood showcase to inspire customers who want to bring their own concepts to life to round it up.

“We’re glad to be back in the Riverhead community once again,” COO of 84 Lumber, Frank Cicero, said. “As we identified new opportunities for the company this year, we felt returning to Riverhead to help service the East End with our capabilities and high-end showroom was an easy business decision.”

This latest move is simply a part of the organisation’s assertive expansion plan and strategy for 2017. Other grand openings for upcoming store locations will be held in Tampa South, San Antonio, Durham, North Carolina, and Holbrook, South Boston.

The grand opening festivities for the upcoming Riverhead store at 1751 West Main Street, will begin on April 6th, Thursday. Attended by the Kitchen cousins, it will start with a ribbon cutting ceremony, and offer promotions only at the location. The celebrations will last through to Saturday, April 8th.

84 Lumber operates more than 250 stores in the United States, and runs 24 stores in New York alone.
