6th edition of Mapping The Course by WCFC to be held in January 2019

The 6th edition of Mapping the Course: Timberlands, Forest Products, Processing and Fibre Issues for 2019 conference is set to be held on 24 January 2019 at Heathman Lodge, Vancouver. Organised jointly by Western Forestry and Conservation Association, Wood Resources International and Forest Resources Association, the conference will offer in-depth analysis on forest products market challenges, opportunities, and threats for 2019 in the North American West Coast timberland region.

Topics covered include: 2019 Stressors and Opportunities for North American Forest Industry, Outlook for Sawlog and Pulpwood Prices in Western US and Western Canada, Comparing the Competitiveness of North America’s Softwood Log and Lumber Operations, Strategic Issues for US PNW Timberlands in 2019, etc

Additionally, there is an optional workshop themed: Growth Rings: Professional Development and Communication Skills happening on 23 January 2019. The conference and optional workshop will both be held at the Heathman Lodge in Vancouver, WA.
