Editor’s pickWeinig expands in the U.S.
Weinig and Holz-Her are strengthening their market presence in North America.
The subsidiary of the German Weinig Group, which has been operating from Mooresville in the east of the USA since 1976, is opening an additional location on the West Coast.
From December this year, the wide portfolio of the leading technology provider for solid wood and panel processing can also be experienced live in Anaheim, California. The heart of the 600 square metre facility is a fully equipped Expocenter for the machines and systems of the premium manufacturer. In addition to daily demonstrations, the new location will be used for in-house trade fairs, exhibitions, conferences and training courses. Offices, a service centre and a spare parts warehouse have also been installed in the premises.

“We are pleased to be able to present our innovative technologies to the many customers on the West Coast directly on site and in a first-class environment,” said Sales Manager Andy Turner.
Strategically, Michael Weinig, Inc. and Holz-Her U.S., Inc. are pursuing the goal of further optimising sales support and service standards in the western part of the country. President Jason Howell sees the new presence as an important building block to meet increasing requirements. The company has grown strongly in recent years. In 2018, the Weinig Group’s strongest single market, driven primarily by strong project business, will continue to perform at a very high level.
